Senior Year - Part 38
"Hey Varun!” Krithi says enthusiastically as she invites you inside. You walk through the main hallway into the kitchen to say hello to her parents.
“Hello, Varun. How are you?” Krithi’s mom asks.
“I’m great, thank you. And thank you for having me over.” You do your best to be polite, especially around Krithi. She’s always the most polite person in any room, sometimes to the point where it freaks you out a little. You aren’t one to forego manners, but still, she’s just so damn polite it’s insane.
You follow Krithi downstairs to her basement, wondering if she’s thinking about what happened at the party on Monday night as much as you are. Maybe she was so drunk that she forgot all about it. That would be just right for your luck.
You reach the bottom of the stairs and step into her well furnished basement. Krithi turns to you with a smile. “So, what should we do?” She asks.
